Welcome to the Louisiana Peace Officers Association's Web Site. This site is dedicated to the men and women who serve and protect the citizens of the state of Louisiana. Our Goal with this site to provide an online resource to our members active and future, giving them a way to stay informed about current L.P.O.A. activities and services that the Association provides to its members.

Your membership in the Louisiana Peace Officers Association will help to ensure its continued efforts at improving the quality of law enforcement in our state. At present the LPOA's membership has grown to approximately 2500 officers. With your continued support, the LPOA can succeed in its legislative agenda, including guaranteed supplemental pay, and other benefits to law enforcement officers.

  • To promote efficiency in crime prevention and detection by means of conferences and conventions
  • To develop better cooperation and unity amongst various law enforcement agencies in the state
  • To cooperate with peace officers of other state and the Federal Government
  • To aid and assist fellow officers in distress or need
